I told Emilia and Iago that my husband called me a whore. This upset Iago. I was deeply hurt by Othello’s words. I left and betrayed my own father and country just to be with him. And this is the thanks I get? Being called a whore and accused of sleeping with Cassio? This is truly unfair of that damn man! Now he won’t even dare to look at me without that look of pure hatred and disgust. I don’t know what to do anymore! I fear that my Lord will do something he will deeply regret: murder me. I know it’s very crazy but the look in his eyes, like some strange version of a warning or bad omen. Iago said that he’d tried to talk to Othello. I pray to the heavens that he would get through to poor Othello or may the heavens have mercy on me.

Desdemona's Diary VI by Lenisha
Othello has changed. His behavior towards me is so hostile and bitter. I ask him what is the mater and he said nothing. I have misplaced the handkerchief the Moor has given me that was given to his mother. He begs and begs for me to saw it to him and I told him later on. What the hell is wrong with this man? Since day one he was always so sweet and loving to me but now its like being with another man. A tormented soul that lives in Othello. My cousin and uncle have come to say that my father has died. Then my husband did something: he hit ME! I couldn’t believe it! And accuses me of being with Cassio! I was so hurt and angry with him. How dare he! I was always true to Othello. But I still love the man with all my heart.
Desdemona's Diary V by Lenisha
I never have seen a man cry before with such grief. Seriously, Michael Cassio was crying like he lost his entire family to the Turks. And to make matters worst, this man has come crying to me, asking for me to talk to Othello, my Lord for his job back. Honestly, by his feeble reaction, I think that Othello was right for removing him. But knowing I always have a kind heart, I told him to relax and that I’ll try to talk to Othello. However, my Lord wasn’t planning on giving Cassio his job back. Oh how this man was completely stubborn. I asked him at dinner. No. I asked him in the morning. Again no. Then I said well when? Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or when the Turks rises from their graves in the sea? My Lord seems a bit upset at Cassio and me for some reason.
Desdemona's Diary IV by Lenisha
Othello told me about when he and the Venetian army had arrived in Turk; the storm had already done the job for them. I was very glad that Othello didn’t have to fight because the though of losing him would just kill me. But he said that he’s fine and that I shouldn’t worry so much.
Desdemona's Diary III by Lenisha
I have asked the Duke of Venice if I can come with my husband, Othello to Cyprus and he agrees. The Duke is very understanding. And lucky for me, Emilia is also attending. But the terrible part is that Iago is also coming as well. Honestly there is something off about that man. I wanted to tell Othello that he should keep an eye on him, but I fear he won’t listen to me. And worst of all, I have been waiting for days for his safe return. Although to me, the days feel like years and years. Will I become a widow so young? Will he be killed as a punishment for my betrayal to my own father? But then I saw his ship! Oh I have never been so happy in my life! He looks as if he never been in a war in his life. Thank God!
Desdemona's Diary II by Lenisha
I told my father and the Duke of Venice about my marriage to Othello the Moor. And might I add, my father wasn’t please at all. Sometimes I couldn’t believe that I am related to him. The way he was acting was like he had gone completely insane. He said that Othello had me under a spell or witchcraft. As much as I wanted to tell my father off for saying such feeble lies, I remained calm about the situation. I spoke in the eyes for the Duke of Venice and told him that Othello didn’t simply have me because of spell or whatever, but because of his wonderful and interesting stories of war. And right then and there, this courageous and adventurous man swept me right off my feet. And I said to my father that my mother had chosen him over her own father. Why me?

Roderigo Diary pt. 6 by Kayron Merritt
The moment of truth. Iago told me that I would have to kill Cassio because he is competition towards Desdemona heart. I have never killed anybody before. Like I said I’m rich so for me to fight wasn’t necessary or required. As I figured I was completely horrible at trying to take a life. I wasn’t even to pierce Cassio armor and instead I end up getting stabled. Iago was able to sneak by stable in his leg and not be seen. Lodovico and Graziano heard our cries of pain but for some reason doesn’t come and help us. All I can think about is how I will never be able to see my love again or know how it feels to kiss her. Than Iago appears carrying a light but once he notices me he stabs me with no hesitation. Betrayed by a person I considered my friend left isolated by a female I called my true love. I finally realized left is just filled with surprises and unfair treatment. Some people are blessed with h finer things and life. I thought I was lucky one because of my riches but I come to realize that money can’t buy you happiness just pain and suffering. I guess it wasn’t written in history for me to live a long and loving life
